The Role
We’re seeking an Advertising & Marketing Compliance Officer with hands-on experience in high-ticket sales, marketing, or education environments. This role goes beyond oversight—you’ll design, monitor, and enforce compliance frameworks across advertising, marketing funnels, sales scripts, and operational processes. You’ll work closely with leadership in sales, marketing, and coaching to ensure all messaging, campaigns, and client interactions are transparent, ethical, and aligned with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Advertising & Marketing Compliance: Review and approve promotional campaigns, digital ads, landing pages, funnels, and email sequences to ensure alignment with FTC guidelines, truth-in-advertising standards, and consumer protection laws.
Sales Oversight: Monitor high-ticket sales calls, scripts, and client communications to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with ethical selling practices.
Policy & Framework Development: Design and implement compliance policies, SOPs, and governance structures for sales and marketing teams.
Auditing & Risk Management: Conduct regular internal audits, monitor funnels and operations, and lead corrective action plans when risks or violations are identified.
Training & Education: Deliver compliance training sessions to sales, marketing, and operations teams; coach staff on best practices for ethical communication.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and operations leadership to scale processes that are both growth-focused and compliance-driven.
Regulatory Awareness: Stay ahead of evolving industry regulations and trends in sales, marketing, coaching, and consumer protection.
Key Qualifications
Experience in compliance, sales operations, or marketing oversight (preferably in high-ticket sales, coaching, or education businesses).
Strong understanding of FTC regulations, truth-in-advertising laws, consumer protection standards, and ethical sales practices.
Proven ability to review advertising, marketing funnels, and sales processes for compliance risk.
Skilled in creating compliance frameworks for fast-growing organizations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and coach cross-functional teams.
Balanced approach to enforcing compliance while enabling sustainable business growth.
